Metformin decreases sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestines. It helps control the high blood sugar levels seen in diabetes. It reduces the chances of serious complications of diabetes and also helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems and sexual function problems. Gemer 2 Tablet PR is used as an antidiabetes medicine. It works by removing excess sugar from your body through urine.
